Silver Lake

Broccoli Hall @ Silver Lake is our extended campus in Au Sable Forks, NY. Nestled in the million acre “forever wild” of the Northern Adirondack Mountains, it offers an idyllic setting for Project FEAT overnight trips and Wild Asparagus (see below). Silver Lake offers campers three well-appointed lodges, a lean-to, a hillside amphitheater, a community campfire, and over 265 feet of pristine lake front. This includes a safe, sandy swimming area, a dock, and a float for deep water as well as sailboats, canoes, and kayaks. Students will find all the necessary equipment for a full, rewarding, and enriching outdoor experience. At Silver Lake, camp and school come together and continue over 40 years of blooming and growing, in a way that is uniquely Broccoli Hall.

Wild Asparagus

In addition to trips during the school-year, Broccoli Hall @ Silver Lake serves as home base for our summer program, Wild Asparagus. Each summer, we offer one to three-week sessions. Approximately twelve campers per session use Silver Lake as a home base to enjoy a variety of activities designed to enhance personal growth, communication, and social-skill development. Opportunities include the many outdoor activities, as well as arts, crafts, cooking, and even drama and improv. The experience gives young people a chance to explore independence while fostering a greater sense of self, community, and the world.
